On May 5, 2017 the dog became symptomatic. The owner called their veterinarian for information and bathed the dog with liquid dish washing detergent (LDWD). The owner then contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated that seizures are not expected. The APSS technician recommended the owner take the animal to a veterinarian and to call back with questions.
