On July 5, 2017 the dog developed symptoms. On July 6, 2017 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS technician stated that the risk is for a paresthesia sensation and that if ingested, retching, gagging or mild gastrointestinal (GI) upset can be seen. The APSS technician recommended the owner monitor at home, take the animal to a veterinarian (if signs worsen), and to call back with questions.
