Ten minutes after the product was applied on September 30, 2017, the cat developed symptoms Thirty minutes later, the owner bathed the cat using Dawn dish soap. On October 2, 2017 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service. The APSS veterinarian stated that the risk is for dermal sensitivity. The APSS assistant recommended the owner apply vitamin E oil, apply a cold compress, monitor for dermatological signs, and call back with questions.
