1-49599008 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cat was exposed to an insecticidal collar containing the active ingredient tetrachlorvinphos. Approximately one week before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated she placed the product on her 10-pound, 1-year-old, male cat of unknown breed. Approximately three days later, the cats neck developed hair loss, redness, and burns. Two days before the day of initial contact, the cat developed vomiting and seizures and was brought to a veterinarian where he died. Necropsy was not discussed as the cat had already been buried. No additional information is available.
