On March 30th an owner applied a dose of K9 Advantix II for large dog topically to a 12yr 13kg spayed female American Eskimo. The owners report that a scab developed at one of the application sites, the dog was not seen by a vet and it healed on its own. The timing is unknown. The dog is a newly diagnosed diabetic.

B - Possible Would not expect scab development directly related to product, however, likely dog scratched at site and caused sign by self-trauma. Pruritus was not reported though. However, even though time to onset is unknown, considering application site involvement, a product connection is deemed to be possible.
