Four dogs were poisoned in the (name) area in the spring of 2010. Two of the dogs were analyzed and confirmed with strychnine poisoning. A deer carcass just outside of (city) near the home of one of the dog owners was found laced with strychnine. The deer was in the ditch on (location) road. RCMP and County officials investigated and checked the area for the source of Strychnine. No product from our two per cent LSC program was purchased near the area and no source of strychnine was ever found.
