1-48020492 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates his dog was exposed to a pesticide containing the active ingredients dicamba (present as acid, amine salt, ester, or sodium salt), 2,4-D (present as amine salts: dimethylamine salt, diethanolamine salt, or other amine salts), and quinclorac. The product was purchased in the USA and used in Canada. Two days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated he applied the product to his lawn. One day before the day of initial contact, the reporters 14-year-old, 8.5-pound, female dog of unknown breed was allowed access to the treated lawn. On the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated the dog was hyperactive and developed diarrhea. The reporter was advised the product has a low level of toxicity and minor gastrointestinal upset might be expected. It the symptoms persist beyond 24 hours, veterinary evaluation should be sought. No follow up was attempted. No additional information is available.
