On 10Oct2016, the cat was hit by a car, had unspecified trauma, and died. No necropsy was performed. Due to the sensitive nature of the communication, specific relevant event details were not obtained, nor will such be sought. The reason for the initial phone call was to discuss the use of the product and not to report the death of the patient. No more information is expected and the case is closed.

19. Provide supplemental information here
Death and unspecified trauma is not expected following appropriate topical product application as inconsistent with products pharmacological profile. Oral exposure to the collar is not expected to cause serious signs either. The feline involved in this case was hit by car and had trauma which led to death and thus not related to product. Moreover, the reason for the initial phone call was to discuss the use of the product and not to report the death of the patient. Time to onset is long. Although no necropsy performed, product involvement is considered unlikely.
