1-46587181 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated his dog may have been exposed to a rodenticide containing the active ingredient diphacinone (present in free form or as sodium salt). An unknown number of days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter thinks his 12-pound, 4-month-old, male, mixed breed dog got into some of the product. On the day of initial contact, the dog was lethargic and hypothermic. The reporter was advised to get immediate veterinary attention for the dog. On follow-up call one day later, the reporter could not be reached. On follow-up call two days later, the reporter indicated the dog died on the day of initial contact and that veterinary care was not sought. No additional information is available.
