On January 10, 2016 the kitten developed symptoms. The owner then contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS technician stated the ingredients can cause a taste reaction and/or mild gastrointestinal (GI) upset. The APSS technician recommended bathing the kitten (liquid dish washing detergent (LDWD), keep warm), providing a taste treat (1 teaspoon (tsp) of milk or tuna), calling back with questions (if signs continue post bathing).
