On November 7, 2015 the kitten developed symptoms. On November 10, 2015 the owner took the kitten to the veterinarian, where fluid therapy and nitenpyram were given and a chemistry profile was performed. On November 12, 2015 the kitten's symptoms became mild. Later that evening the kitten was discharged from the hospital. On November 18, 2015 the owner contacted the company who transferred the owner to the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS).The owner declined a consultation and only wanted to get the case reported.
