On approximately 06July2016 the dog died. No known necropsy was performed. No further information is expected. This case is closed. Note from LDSM : The intent of the call was to discuss use of the product on another pet and not to report the death of the dog.

Death is not expected in dog after product application, as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Time to onset over one day, therefore allergic/anaphylactic reaction can be ruled out. The intent of the call was to discuss use of the product on another pet and not to report the death of the dog. Other etiologies are more probable e.g. medical condition of diabetes. Even though necropsy is not reported, considering long time to onset (5 days) for death, a product connection is deemed to be unlikely.
