Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

Death is not expected after product application, as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 20-fold overdosage tolerated by dogs without showing any side effect. No signs of allergy/anaphylactic reaction reported. The animal was geriatric with concomitant deafness and blindness. The advanced age may have contributed to death. Further, in case of suspected product involvement, adverse event would have been reported in close proximity and not long time after. The intent of the call was to discuss product use on another pet and not to report this event. Even though information regarding time to onset and necropsy results are unknown, considering known product profile, finally product relation is considered unlikely.
