Product was applied July 3 2013. On July 4 2014 the pet owner noticed changes to the dog's skin on his back. The dog has pre-existing skin lesions on feets, chin, neck, paws and peri-anal region due to atopy. The pet was examined July 22 2014 and the vet noted skin scaling, crusts and erythems similar to hives on the dog's back at or near the application sites for K9 advantix. The pet was treated with prednisone and shampoo.
