1-37978115 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that his dog was exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredients 2,4-D, mecoprop-p and dicamba. The reporters wife applied the product to the lawn on the morning of initial contact with the registrant and 8 hours later their 30 pound, female Australian shepherd entered the application site and ingested some grass and about 1.5 hours after the dog ate the grass it vomited one time. The reporter was advised that the product has a wide margin of safety but with ingestion transient gastrointestinal irritation is possible. Veterinary care was recommended for any severe or persistent symptoms. No further information is available.
