1-37599203 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that her dog was exposed to a spot-on insecticide containing the active ingredients phenothrin and methoprene. The reporter applied the product to her 11-year-old, 12 pound, female mixed breed Shih tzu and toy poodle three days prior to initial contact with the registrant. The following day the dog had a seizure and was not able to walk. The reporter brought her dog to the emergency veterinarian that night where it was treated with muscle relaxers and supportive care for a period of about 2.5 hours and then sent home on oral muscle relaxers. No further information is available.
