1-34714652 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that her cat was exposed to an insecticidal spray containing the active ingredients tetrachlorvinphos and methoprene. The reporter indicated that she applied the product to her 16 year old, male, 20 pound domestic longhaired cat two to three weeks prior to initial contact with the registrant. Sometime after the product was applied the cat was scratching and fell off of the reporters high bed and the reporter believes the cat may have broken or dislocated its hip. The reporter never sought veterinary care after the fall and the cat died three days later. The reporter was advised that the described symptoms are not consistent with exposure to the product.
