1-27596005- The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her animal had bee exposed to an insecticidal product containing the active ingredient tetrachlorvinphos. The pet owner indicated he applied the product to his five month male cat two days prior to the initial contact with the registrant. She reported she observed the animal licking the application site following application. The pet owner indicated the animal had just vomited immediately preceding the phone call. The pet owner was advised the signs seen were not likely to be related to the use or the ingestion described. The time line indicated some thing else was likely affecting the pets health. She was advised to seek veterinary advice if the signs persisted or worsened. Follow up was not obtained on this case. N further information is available.
