Incident Summary ¿ Pertinent Details ¿ 10 Gallons of Dasco Clear 584 was added to at least 3 flush booths. ¿ 3 Gallons of Nalco 7320 was added to each of the 3 flush booths approximately 15 minutes after the Dasco Clear 584 addition. o Each Flush booth system volume is approximately 600 USG. o Use concentration of Nalco 7320 was 5,000 ppm product to system volume. o Prescribed use concentration of Nalco 7320 is 150 to 200 ppm to system volume. ¿ High concentrations of both Dasco Clear 584 and Nalco 7320 caused irritating fumes to personnel in the area. o Those that were affected were evacuated until the fumes dissipated. ¿ Flush booth contents were drained to the pit, then, refilled with fresh city water. ¿ Contents of flush booths were diluted with 20 USGPM of city water in the pit for approximately 90 minutes. o The contents of the pit were transferred to the storage tanks in the mechanical room for liquid waste disposal. o Noco contacted Nalco for Nalco 7320 data. o Estimated concentration of Nalco 7320 after dilution and residence time is 800 ppm.
